God wants us to live a life of DOMINION, not continuous asking for FORGIVENESS Jesus came to save His people from their sins-both penalty and power! By His work, He dealt with the nature of sin (Matthew 1:21).& Our Identity (Romans 6:2-15)Accept the fact of your unconditional justification in Christ!Nothing you do changes God's disposition toward you. (1John 1:6-10, Colossians 1:21-22) Sin is a CHOICE, not your nature anymore!& How to Overcome Temptation (James 1:13-15)Temptation comes through: lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, pride of life, and the world system. (1 John 2:15-16)Always start with what Jesus has done! Accept that you have unconditional justification in Christ! - The Strategy:1 - Radical mind renewal (James 1:21, Psalm 119:27) 2 - Reduce exposure to triggers-identify the patternsThis is the gospel: Jesus came to save His people FROM their sins!
