Brant, a long-time stamp enthusiast since the age of eight, is frustrated with the sudden influx of new collectors, referring to them as "Johnny come latelys". He reminisces about the stamp club he started at nine, the Benjamin Franklin Stamp Club, and admits to his reluctance to welcome newcomers who are only interested because of the new scratch and sniff stamps.
