Young Sikiru Ayinde Balogun started out as a wéré singer. In 1966, he decided that he no longer wanted his music to be limited in its reach and he created Fuji from its wéré and ajísàrì roots. But before then, he had to learn the ropes, join the army and develop the genre's sound- all by himself. CREDITS: Mr Fuji contains interviews with the late Barrister by Gbenga Adewusi (Bayowa), Oludasile Fuji and Consoligbadun TV. Written and narrated by The Jide Taiwo.
